My loved ones tease me horribly because I love the crappy, cheesy scifi flicks. I haven't heard of this one though; did I miss it?

I think the reason I can stand to watch these movies *and most movies, actually* is 'cause I don't actually watch them. I just started noticing that I'm usually doing a billion other things when I watch movies/tv, unless it's really captivating, but even then, still...for the really interesting, quality stuff, maybe I'm just doing a hundred other things. tongue

I know watch you mean.. some shows and movies are useful as a background distraction, more than something keeping your entire attention.

When I watch a movie at the theater, usually I can *mostly* focus on the movie, probably 'cause the volume is so loud, but movies and t.v. at home, it's all background noise to help and hinder my work. ;P

Heh heh, you know you're a parent when that background TV-show is Bob the Builder.

Yep, that is me most of the time. There was an episode of The Simpsons, Homer has snacks all around him on the sofa and armrest and the back of the sofa while watching t.v. and his arms are flailing everwhere grabbing all the junk food and dipping them...substitute some of the junk food for pins and needles or a paintbrush and that's me most days.
