Sin and the Ouroboros

Post by Ash on Mon Feb 09, 2009 10:22 pm

I recently stumbled upon the correlation that I think
can be drawn between the ancient Ourobors symbol and what might be an
analogy to Sin.

Sin is defined usually as "missing the mark".

It is a state of existence, much more than actions.

Sin is the eating of ones own self. It is a process of forever
devouring oneself, as illustrated well with the ancient symbol known in
the vulgar as Ouroboros.[/size]

It is destruction through Self. It is living off of... what was created to live off of God.

Would agree with my correlation to this ancient symbol?
