Judas Priest
So I listened to Painkiller and now I'm going to listen to Screaming For Vengeance. What's your favorite Priest? For some odd reason, I'd never given JP a worthy listen... I was driving home one day from work and heard Painkiller on the radio. It blew my mind, so I went out and bought the album. Next was Screaming and I love that one too. I still need to get a few more... Sadly, there is not enough $$ at this time. Perhaps soon!

Re: Judas Priest
Everything on Pain Killer is awesome.
but my favorite album is still one of their first ones... Sad Wings of Destiny.

Re: Judas Priest
I like some of 'Painkiller', but think a lot of it has a really forced, kind of uncomfortable feel that a lot of people miss in favor of the outward aesthetics of it. 'Sad Wings' is definitely one of their most well done albums, and so is 'Screaming' despite the bonehead cheese rearing it's head more and more heavily as the years passed. 'Defenders of the Faith' I think may be their most solid record along with 'Sin After Sin'. JP are not an active listen for me anymore, though. It just doesn't do it anymore..... plus some of the lyrics......worse than the worst power metal.

Re: Judas Priest
I just bought the first new CD in like a month with some leftover reward points. Cheap and on ebay. Dark at Dawn - Baneful Skies. Killer.
Other than that, I have exactly $0.05 at this moment. I would be ashamed, but who cares. I. need. a. new. job.

I've been doing company/corporate/state/federal tax returns for the past month now... it's the most annoying thing ever, and I use Turbotax, too. Oh well, that's part of my job... but still, ECCCCCHHHH.
Back on topic: I only have Painkiller, but it's pretty decent. I'd definitely recommend it if you're into that kind of metal.

My favorite Judas Priest album is Defenders of the Faith. I would listen to that album all the time before going to school.
