I am a silly, stay-at-home, hippie momma who loves Jesus, my husband and my baby. I was really happy that Scott suggested I start posting here. I am full of controversial opinions and crazy ideas. I hope I don't annoy you all too much. :)

That picture you took was awesome btw... where was that at ?

It was actually on our drive way. It winds through the woods for quite a ways before reaching our house. It is quite beautiful.

Yeah, that driveway keeps out burglars, vacuum cleaner salesmen, AND Jehovah's Witnesses. WIN.

took me a while though.

dividing it in parts :

Hi Jenny, I am Marcia - an old hippie mamma with controversial opinions and ideas, too! I look forward to many conversations with you.

How old is your baby? My "baby" is 20 years and an English major in college. We homeschooled for over 10 years and still live a very simple, peaceful life.

I am married to a heavy metal musician who has played everything from little clubs to huge metal festivals in Europe, Canada, and the US. He is home now for good and is glad to be out of it! He likes the simple life with us and all our animals and land. Our church and ministry, our son, and our friends are the focal point of life now.

Your life sounds wonderful and beautiful. Animals and land, ah, the life. Someday I will have my little farm!

I was a homeschooler. My mommy taught me and my five brothers and sister all the way through. I am the oldest, finished up in 2002 and she is still at it. She's amazing. I have the utmost respect for homeschool mommas. Its a hard job. You will have to share tips and ideas with me, as I am going to be/am a homeschool mom.

My baby is two and a half. He is an incredible person. I am so blessed to be in his life.

Ah, the glasses war... rich with many an epic battle.

Glasses + two-year-old = hell for mommy.

He is a pretty cool kid. Loves Mario and dinosaurs and cars. Oh, and guns (through no fault of mine). Yeah... he is a boy.

You forgot metal. He loves metal as well... calls it "dinosaur music", and headbangs, and tries to throw the horns. His fingers aren't quite coordinated enough to pull off the horns yet, though. He can only manage half. Like this: \m

Peace, what band did your husband play in ?

The most recognizable names he has played with was as a fill-in tour drummer for Widowmaker for one summer and then almost three years with Jacobs Dream. He is the drummer on their Theater of War CD.

He was with two other notable signed bands, with high hopes for each, but they never "made it". He has worked in many studios all across the country as a studio drummer and engineer.
