Favorite meat?

I have been cooking up a lot of Salmon lately.. and I'm getting pretty good at it now.

It's so tasty when cooked just right. It's gotta be my favorite meat!


What is yours?

Baltic herring, the small fish you know!!
And barbequed salmon.

some chips to that, and its great!!

Baltic Herring is something I would definitely like to try. Not to common here though, haha.

Beef. It's what's for dinner.

As the only vegetarian on this site (just a guess, might be wrong), tofu is my favorite "meat"!!

My favorite 'meat' would probably have to be a tie between cooked mushrooms *don't like them raw* and seitan.
Veggie burgers and other faux 'meats' are also tasty, I just don't eat them often.

I've been cutting down on meat myself, although tuna is still my favorite.... and lean steak.

Since moving back home, my parents do make sure that I eat fish at least once in a month due to fish oil being good for your brain's ability to focus...good, which has been a problem of mine for a long time. You do get the same result with flaxseed, but eh, I've learned to pick my battles. ;D

Well.. I've also viewed fish as kind of like bread. haha. it actually has about the same fiber levels... and is actually lower in fat than some bread.

I eat much lamb meat. It's just too tasty.

Favorite white meat- chicken. There's just so much you can do with it.

Favorite red meat- the amazing and beautiful pork product known simply as bacon. Only problem is, I'm getting ready to stop eating swine again. BLEAAHHHHHH.

Bacon isn't pig-meat, it's grown from the baconbush.
That's my friends brilliant excuse for eating bacon but not pig.

Actually, according to Donald 'effin Duck (lord v).. it falls from the sky. So it must be manna from heaven.


But yea.. my girlfriend makes this soy sausage or bacon.. it's take just like the real thing.. only it's better for you.

I still eat real bacon too.. if I'm eating out or something. It's undeniably delicious.

Even my non-veggie dad loves it. I don't get it too often though, because I'm trying to not eat so many processed foods, and while I love the taste, I don't love the price.

a pig cannot be slaughtered at the neck due to its anatomy... so it's impossible to kill a pig the kosher/halal way


but i don't like pork, in most forms its pretty nasty, beef is alot tastier not to mention wild animals

Why is that? I don't really believe you...

i've read it several times... i'm no expert on pig anatomy but i suppose you jsut can't empty them on blood from the neck thats all.

ok so i looked around an supposedly it is because a pig has no neck... they cut the jugular at the neck because that way they can cut the jugular without cutting any other organ, the blood mus only come from the jugular. apparently this is not possible on a pig since they have no neck. one muslim said "if good wanted us to eat pork he would have given them a neck"
