Re: "bigfoots" no longer debateable this friday?
if mr. bigfoot would really exist, we would have found him loooong time ago...
Re: "bigfoots" no longer debateable this friday?
you mean one of his dead bodies? Sightings are amazingly common... in many different parts of the world.. I'm sure some could be hoaxes or fake, but to say that all the reports and evidence are hoaxes or false... too me, seems an unreasonable conclusion.
Re: "bigfoots" no longer debateable this friday?
i think that if there are really sightings where the creature isn't a hoax, then it's probably not a "real creature" but has some occult background.
Re: "bigfoots" no longer debateable this friday?
Are you serious? That's going to make some weird theology.gwrtheyrn wrote:i think that if there are really sightings where the creature isn't a hoax, then it's probably not a "real creature" but has some occult background.
And Ash, mankind have hunted down everything that moves on this earth with two or four legs. If there ever was a bigfoot, it would be in the London Museum Of Natural History by now.

Yea, but we are still discovering new animals all the time. And if this big foot is incredibly intelligent, I can see it possible that they exist, regardless of no dead body yet.
I also agree with gweth's occult background theory.. that it is possible.
haha.. remember the Indonesian troll.
Re: "bigfoots" no longer debateable this friday?
We are discovering new animals, very true, but those are animals that haven't been seen until now. The probability of a higher primate being seen but not close enough for 200 years is not high.
I'm skeptic until they show me a body. That's not made of rubber.
Muahahahaha, the indonesian troll! You gave me the best laugh I've had for a long time!

well, because of my experience in the occult years ago.. i believe in beings that are existing here, but on a plain we don't normally perceive.
It is not hard for some of these beings to take on physical form either.
I also understand that these ideas are fringe fro most people.

Because of my experience in two psychiatric hospitals, I'm skeptic until I find reasons to believe. The mind is powerful.

I have experience with psychiatric problems too.. haha.
Yea, the mind is amazing.

One of the more powerful moments was when I was talking to a paranoid woman. For a while I actually believed her, no matter how insane it sounded.

Re: "bigfoots" no longer debateable this friday?
oh, I have been through hell and back, bro. I had a surgery that went "bad"... and after finally recovering from that, ended up with a horrible "panic disorder".. caused by both the trauma I endured and the over use of certain meds because of it..
I'm alot better than back then.. but have never fully recovered.

Re: "bigfoots" no longer debateable this friday?
Oh, sounds like a real pain in the ***. We have had surgery in school the last months so it's pretty close to my heart in a way. Panic disorders are strange things...

Re: "bigfoots" no longer debateable this friday?
Mine was so extreme I would be literally paralyzed. I had to have paramedics come pick me up and take me to the hospital to give me high doses of sedatives.. before I could lose the paralysis. It was nightmarish.
Re: "bigfoots" no longer debateable this friday?
I bet. It's impossible for someone who hasn't had one (like me) to understand what it's like.

i did a paper on placebo... man that is freaky
but i do still believe there is somethings out there, to many that science can not yet explain. but no not bigfoot, all larger new mammals found in modern day are found in unexplored parts of the world ... not north america

Placebo isn't that freaky. Hypnosis and suggestion are. Check out some of Derren Browns stuff on youtube.

Re: "bigfoots" no longer debateable this friday?
i read you could drill in peoples teeth without them feeling a sheisse using only placebo... thats freaky if you ask me, if the body can sedate it self bet it can do ALOT.

Re: "bigfoots" no longer debateable this friday?
actually, you can drill into teeth..without practically any pain, if you know where to avoid the nerve.
But yea, the most common drug class of sedative.. Benzodiazapines.. actually works by causing the brain to release it's own sedating chemical. So yea, the brain definitely has amazing abilities.

Just a small correction; Benzo's make the brain's GABA-receptors more efficient to GABA. Alcohol, on the other hand does what you are saying, iircAsh wrote:Benzodiazapines.. actually works by causing the brain to release it's own sedating chemical.
