Abney Park in LA at The Edison, With Lucent Dossier.
Also, the Edison has asked us to play three sets! That's the most Abney Park music ever! So instead of digging all the way back in time to get the old crap we wrote when we were twelve, we've gone FORWARD IN TIME, and will be performing the NEXT album, due out late in 2009!!!'

I am very badly wanting to go join in the jollification that comes with hanging out with a bunch of time-traveling sky pirates, but the ticket price makes us very sad, oh well.

Re: The Nautilist Ball at The Edison ~ New Year's Eve
In my younger days of youth, I ditched school and I tried to hop on a bus to LA to see Nick Cave...needless to say, I got caught.that looks awesome.. too bad in it's LA.
Had I the $125 to spare, I totally go at it again, sans the skipping school part which won't be necessary this time 'round...I am so very bummed at being broke.

An update from the Captain Robert ~ Abney Park Chronicle, Issue #9:
New Years Eve At The Edison,$175 $75!
So here is the deal, The Edison (In LA) is having this INCREDIBLY luxurious New Years Eve event, with open premium liquor bar, and free dessert bar, and so many cool things I can't even list them all.
But the problem is all these luxury costs a lot of cash. Originally, ticket prices were set for $175 a piece! Well, after much hardswindling conning negotiating, this pirate captain has gotten for you 100 tickets for just $75 bucks each!
Here is how you get this price:
1. go to: https://www.edisondowntown.com/tickets/index.php?eventid=336
2. Under Coupon Code, enter: "ap-15645265"
3. Buy tickets for yourself and all your friends.
4. Come to the show, and eat and drink and hang out with Abney Park an some for the coolest Steampunks in LA.
In all honesty, this is a very cool thing The Edison is doing JUST for Abney Park fans. Everyone else has to pay $175 per ticket. So if you bump into the owner, manager, or booking agent, be sure to thank them for this!!

I hope someone here can go!
