Do you take the river to the castle, or go through the enchanted forest?

The ferryman charges 500 Rupees for a trip, and you haven't even bought all the potions and power-ups you'll need. Besides, Chris DeBurgh tells us to not pay the ferryman.. Evil or Very Mad


BUT, if you go through the forest, you'll have to fight most of the way and may get torn to bits by ravenous Orcs, and your heart level isn't looking so great atm...
