They're Russian, which seems a little odd at first until you remember the Rus (what? no horns-throwing emoticon? MAKE IT RIGHT, ASHIEPATTLE)

Mmmmfffff.... lots of folk and viking metal is too gimmicky and based on forced combinations of 'extreme' genres.......... but I'll give the link a listen :)
