Yes, that would be me in my Cold War era (1968) German gas mask, and colorized/texturized with a program called Reptile.

Yes... I use the same name everywhere... haha, that was a long time back. I stopped bothering because of all the ultra grim NSBM nihilist types spreading their disease everywhere... But from what I see when I look every once in a while, it seems to be more balanced out there now. But I had myself banned so I wouldn't be addicted to posting there for no reason. I also had a bunch of posts at the ultimate-metal forums, but lots of jerks reared their heads there too, plus the red on red on red was freakin' annoying.

Yeah, I wasn't there when you were posting, but you were sort of legendary for a while as "that guy who asked to be banned"... I think you were one of only two people in the site's history that requested a ban. All the decent regulars spoke pretty highly of you.

I still post there sporadically, mostly in the metal forum but very occasionally in the trade board as well. Yeah, it has evened out mostly. Nearly everyone from a few years ago is gone. While I miss some people, there definitely seems to be a higher ratio of decent posters these days as opposed to trolls (though they still have their share).

Huh.. That's cool, then. Maybe I'll see if I can't get back on there and post some more. I do need somewhere else to discuss metal. I know Empyreal and hells_unicorn are on there, and they are the closest to my own preferences that I've seen on there as far as metal goes, and I know most other people like a good variety of stuff.... it gets boring when everything has to be grim or brutal or whatever. My favorite metal mag is Unrestrained! because it literally covers everything.
