Anyone playing anything at the moment...
Sometimes I do, sometimes I just don't have time...
but I've been replaying Crysis lately..
an extremely beautiful game.

Re: Video Games
I used my economic stimulus payment to buy an Xbox 360, and I've been playing the heck out of it lately. Games:
TES: Oblivion- Game of the Year Edition. Great stuff... it'll really eat into your spare time if you let yourself get sucked into the huge gameworld. My wife plays this more than me, though. A whole LOT more than me.
Bioshock. Loads of fun, especially since I enjoyed System Shock 2, heh heh. I don't play it very much, though, since it's way too gory and disturbing to play in front of the kid.
Call of Duty 2. Lots of fun, though rather predictable. Once again, I don't play it in front of the kid... too much shooting and explosions, even though there's not much blood.
Assassin's Creed. I borrowed this from my friend... boy, am I glad I didn't buy it. The game would be awesome, were it not for the impossible (yes, IMPOSSIBLE) pickpocketing task which I am currently set to. No matter how sneaky I am, the guy catches me and the guards chase me all over town until I FINALLY manage to hide. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
I also got Gears of War last night, but haven't played it yet. (I've played it before, just not lately)
I have a Wii as well, but I haven't been playing it too much since I got the 360. Metroid Prime: Corruption is amazing, though.

Re: Video Games
I use to have a 360, but it doesn't work anymore, so now it's just pc.. which is fine.. cause they have the best games anyways.. including almost all the 360 games anyways.. but with even better graphics options.
and Dude.. call of duty 2?
Call of duty 4's been out for awhile now. I use to play the crap out of it on the online mode. (pc version).
Oblivion.. yea... pretty much totally awesome.

Re: Video Games
I used to be a hardcore PC gamer until I no longer had the time or money required to perform the constant upgrading needed to keep PCs game-ready. These days, I only play consoles. I like being able to just sit down and play, and I also like not having to worry about installing drivers and patches or replacing hardware. Plus, I deal with the horrendous cluster-screw that is Windows Vista enough at my work as it is. I'd rather not make it a part of my free time as well.
And I bought CoD 2 rather than CoD 4 for several reasons:
1) I wanted a WW2 shooter for 360.
2) I wanted to be able to play as the Russians (which ruled out CoD 3).
3) It was $10.
CoD 4 is definitely on my "to buy" list, but CoD 2 is equally good and probably longer, for a sixth of the cost of #4.

Re: Video Games
I know what you mean... I like the 360 too, mine's just broken... so I'm stuck with pc for now.
Mass Effect looks good...
And there's a new one coming out called Prototype that looks awesome too.

Re: Video Games
Red Ring of Death?
Mass Effect is really good, though it can get repetitive in places.
I won't be playing Prototype- I don't like the fact that you're basically forced to kill innocents to advance.

Re: Video Games
You know, I really don't care for the PS2 either. Sure, I respect its massive sales and fanbase, but there just aren't too many games on it that I'm interested in playing. The only ones I really liked were Killzone and Gauntlet: Dark Legacy (which was also on the XBox and Gamecube, heh). My wife liked the Kingdom Hearts games. And that's about it, really.

Re: Video Games
I like all platform games (Jak n Daxter, Ratchet n Clank)
And Final Fantasy X was great (except for Blitzball)

Re: Video Games
I've talked to a lot of people who own or work in stores that sell platforms and platform games. I've been told, pretty consistently too, that more people have brought back PS2s for repairs or because they were defective than any other system made, even the original Playstation.
Re: Video Games
I have never had any problems with it ?
I do have bought 3 controllers already with only one left that works.

Re: Video Games
I recently bought Ragdoll Kung-Fu but I havent installed it yet. Does anyone here play this game and want to compete with me online?
Re: Video Games
It ´s an online beat´em up, pretty queer, the kung-fu fighters look like puppets. Came out in 2006 if I am not mistaken.
Re: Video Games
I've been enjoying Deus Ex: Invisible War recently. It's a couple years old, but it's a good game. :D Doesn't quite match up to the original in terms of storyline, but few sequels do.
